Welcome to NewburyportOptique.com We have been serving Newburyport and the surrounding area for close to 20 years as Franklin Block Opticians. One of our goals was to choose a name for our optical boutique which would reflect our strong ties with the community. Our name may have changed, but neither our staff nor our attention to high quality eyewear and great service has. The Optometrists practicing at the Newburyport Optique are residency trained. A residency is not a requirement to practice Optometry; however our Eye Doctors believe by participating in a year long residency their skills are sharpened to diagnose diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, etc. Dr Chin is residency trained in contact lens fitting and enjoys the challenge of working with hard to fit contact lens patients. You will be impressed with both doctors’ chair side manner, friendliness and attention to your concerns.   In order to meet your Eye care needs we have a full service state of the art lab right in our office.
